Birds are the predominant form of animal life here.

I’ve never been a big fan of birds (thanks to Alfred Hitchcock), but I’m really growing to appreciate them here. Such an incredible variety of birds I’ve never seen before.

That said, there’s one bird that sounds like a moderately-loud alarm going off… one just passed by my bedroom window… Cracks me up every time!
