This Christmas, we are keeping the decorations simple and the Adventures Amazing!

We made our own Christmas Tree! Yesterday, I bought some huge pieces of card stock and a few packs of miscellaneous card stock paper. 7 recently learned how to make origami water balloons in Japanese at school. When 7 saw the metallic paper, she decided to teach us all how to make them—so we put them on the tree as ornaments. Then Kai helped me make an origami star for the top!

We love our tree! We will be exploring the volcano in Rotorua, NZ on Christmas… so now our tree can go with us… Perfect!

And the Christmas hats… we usually do Pixy Stockings every day for advent. We couldn’t find any tiny Christmas stockings this year, so we opted for these puppy Santa hats instead. 😃
