Criticizing Parents

April

In general, there appears to be less criticism of parenting here in NZ.
I think it has to do with the hundreds of different cultures here. It makes it much clearer what characteristics are universals vs. what characteristics are “bad parenting.”

Walking through the mall and hear a toddler/preschooler crying? Yep! That’s definitely universal.

Sitting in a quiet room and hear a kid talking a little louder than the rest of the room… Yep! Universal.

So no need to persecute parents.
